Patient Billing
For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. There is a 5% discount for Cash or Check payments when paid on the same day of service for uninsured patients. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear any misunderstandings.
Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office, regardless of your insurance coverage.
We will send you a monthly statement. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated. We can make arrangements for a monthly payment plan, but this must be done prior to the actual procedure.
Dental Insurance
Your Dental Insurance is welcome here, even if we are out of network! We accept most dental plans. Our front desk staff are experts at helping you obtain the maximum allowable benefits for covered procedures. Our staff will complete and submit all the necessary forms, as well as follow-up with your insurance company—making it easy for you. After insurance responds with payment, you will be billed for the balance. We can also give you an estimate of your out of pocket expense before starting treatment.
At Eckland Family Dentistry, we pride ourselves on working with you to understand your specific and unique dental needs and desires. Once a treatment plan has been established and agreed upon, we will not proceed until you are financially and emotionally ready. We will also prioritize procedures and work with you to stage treatment in order to maximize insurance benefits—decreasing your out of pocket expenses.
